Rapporto di riempimento – area attiva VS area inattiva Come abbiamo brevemente accennato in precedenza, le cavit\u00e0 del riflettore per i pacchetti LED hanno diverse forme, che comprendono percentuali pi\u00f9 o meno elevate della superficie attiva (che emette\/riflette la luce) del pacchetto. Le tre forme pi\u00f9 comuni di queste cavit\u00e0 sono circolare, quadrata arrotondata (simile alla forma di un diamante tagliato a raggiera) e quadrata. Poich\u00e9 la maggior parte del settore utilizza un pacchetto LED denominato 35\/28 SMD (che ha una dimensione rettangolare di 3,5 mm per 2,8 mm), puoi immaginare quali siano le forme delle cavit\u00e0 del riflettore che consentono di ottenere le regioni di luce attiva pi\u00f9 elevate all’interno del pacchetto: la forma quadrata \u00e8 la minore e quella circolare la maggiore. Un tasso di riempimento pi\u00f9 basso pu\u00f2 far sembrare il passo dei pixel pi\u00f9 piccolo senza cambiarlo realmente, l’area di illuminazione \u00e8 pi\u00f9 piccola, facilita un migliore rapporto di contrasto perch\u00e9 c’\u00e8 pi\u00f9 nero (louver nero) visibile su cui i pixel possono risaltare. Pi\u00f9 alto \u00e8 il rapporto di riempimento, maggiore \u00e8 la superficie illuminata e minore \u00e8 lo sfondo nero.
